Kinco HMI and integrated PLC replacements

An HMI or combined PLC/HMI replacement involves the control project as well as the hardware. Record the existing model, panel installation, connected devices, communications and available project files before comparing options. Check which parts of the existing application can be reused and which may need redevelopment.

The MK range combines HMI and control functions. The presence of a similar screen size on another product does not establish equivalent I/O, communications or software behaviour. An enquiry for an MK043E-27DT alternative should therefore include the existing application and installation details, not only the model number.
