Renishaw EVOLUTE
Absolute linear optical encoder derived from RESOLUTE but using a coarser 50 µm scale period, trading ultimate resolution for wider installation tolerances. Supports the same family of drive-specific serial interfaces.

Linear only (no rotary option published). Resolutions 50, 100, 500 nm. SDE ±150 nm, jitter <10 nm RMS, rideheight tolerance 500 µm. Scale RTLA50 up to 10.2 m. Readhead IP64 (DRIVE-CLiQ interface IP67); operating 0 to +80 °C. Panasonic A5 48-bit speed limits apply at finer resolutions.
