Linear-rotary motor

LinMot PR01 linear-rotary motors

Combined linear-and-rotary motors that pair a P01 linear motor with a rotary servo in one housing, so a single unit can push and twist, with optional gearbox and hollow shaft.

Notes on this data

Sizes are PR01-52, -70 and -84, plus geared -52 and -84. 1024 N and 75 Nm apply only to PR01-84 with gearbox (100 rpm, stroke ≤150 mm). Without a gearbox the maximum is 572 N / 10 Nm (PR01-84, 1000 rpm). Continuous force 255 N is the fan-cooled PR01-84 figure (145 N passive). The 3.9 m/s and 1500 rpm figures are for PR01-52; PR01-84 is 3.0 m/s. PR01-52 has 0.47 Nm continuous torque, PR01-84 1.9 Nm.

Alternatives that meet or exceed these figures

Engineers often come to us with a LinMot part number and leave with an alternative that is easier to source, quicker to deliver or a better fit for the machine. These 3 series from our supply network are the closest match on published figures.

Figures are the highest published for each series and are not always measured the same way. A higher figure is not automatically a better choice: mounting, duty cycle, feedback, connectors and approvals matter too. An engineer will check the fit against your application before recommending anything.
